€10 tickets on sale today, Tuesday, 27 October at 3pm, with all proceeds going to the Guinness Dublin 8 Community Fund.
The lineup for Other Voices: Home at the Guinness Storehouse just got even bigger. Aaron Rowe and JayaHadADream are the latest names joining Iceage, Cormac Begley and Quiet Light at St. James’s Gate on Sunday, 8 November, for a night kicking off the road to 25 years of Other Voices in Dingle. €10 tickets go on sale today at 3pm from the Guinness Storehouse website.
AARON ROWE is having a big year. The Irish singer-songwriter supported Dermot Kennedy for two nights at the Aviva Stadium, played to more than 10,000 fans at Electric Picnic, and sold out his Dublin Olympia headline dates in under three minutes. His debut EP, Exodus, explored identity, belonging and his Irish heritage of migration. He also shared stages with Zach Bryan and Sam Fender and made his Glastonbury debut. This spring, he played intimate community shows in Limerick, Cork and Galway, donating all proceeds to buy musical instruments for local schools, making Home a natural fit. Clash calls him “Ireland’s most potent new voice”. Check out his single ‘Forever Now’.
JAYAHADADREAM, a Jamaican-Irish rapper from Cambridge, is making her mark on UK rap with raw lyricism and a distinctive sound. A MOBO Award nominee for Grime Artist of the Year, she won Glastonbury’s 2024 Emerging Talent Competition, two Youth Music Awards and a DJ Mag Award. She’s performed internationally and earned acclaim from Rolling Stone, NME and Clash.
They join the previously announced ICEAGE, the Copenhagen post-punks playing their first Irish show since 2018; West Kerry concertina player CORMAC BEGLEY, whose album B was The Irish Times’ Album of the Year in 2022; and Texas-based alt-pop artist QUIET LIGHT, fresh from playing Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival. MAYKAY returns to host the evening.
From St. James’s Gate to St. James’ Church, Home is the first stop on the road to Dingle, where Other Voices celebrates its 25th edition from 27–29 November.
MayKay, Other Voices host, said: “Other Voices: Home at the Guinness Storehouse is a show I spend the whole year getting excited about. To be bang in the centre of Dublin, in this incredibly special building, with the best hospitality in the business, brings a magic intensity to the night that’s like nothing else. And the line-up, as usual, is the best of the best. It’s going to be extra special this year to welcome Aaron Rowe to the Storehouse in his hometown, and to bring Kerry to Dublin via the great Cormac Begley. What a place, what a show!”.
Harping On
In the meantime, catch up on Harping On, a four-part music and conversation series from Other Voices and the Guinness Storehouse. Hosted by MayKay in the Guinness Storehouse vinyl snug, it features intimate chats and performances with Lisa Hannigan, SPRINTS, Brògeal and Rachel Chinouriri.
